Strange thing about newest (January) Station offers on MyStation.com

If you look at your offers for Station Casinos on MYStation.com which are available for the time period 11/1/2011 – 1/31/2012, is there something a little different about them?

Both of our offers which end in January are drastically lower than before the merging of the Station-Fiesta-Wildfire accounts.

Before: we each received 3 free nights and 2 or 4 free buffets + free-play money + 3x points at ANY Station, including RR and GVR

Newest; 11/1/2011 – 1/31/2012 only - PAY (like $79) for weekday and NO weekend rooms, B1G1F Buffets instead of free, etc. Free nights only at the lowest level (Fiesta), and it says the resort fee is charged.

Could it be that when they merged the 3 casino accounts, they averaged the play from each account to affect new offers? This would lower the offers drastically, as we are now seeing at MYStation.com. (Have not received the January mailer yet.)

Our play has always been : Stations, GVR, RR, and Sunset: Lots of play, triple and 5 play, many hours and many dollars spent. Almost no full pay above 99%.

Fiesta: A few hours, a couple of times per year, full pay only

WildFire (Barley's) - No play at all in the last 10 years. Before that, very little play.

If they averaged these three accounts, our offers would go way down. Anyone else see this?

Offers through December are normal and good. It is only the offers which end in January which are drastically lower.

Please look at your January offer and see if it is normal, or worse (If you also had play at Fiesta & Wildfire (Barley's).

Mine were crap before and the same crap moving forward. I never played Wildfire or Fiesta.
They did not average the play from the different brands. Mailers are still being sent separately by Stations and Fiestas, and the offers for each are separate.

What level card do you have? Lots of people moved up in tier level with the merge and the lowered requirements for each level. If you are President or Chairman, you are automatically "hosted," and should discuss your concerns with a host. If you're lower, you can still contact a host and see what he/she can do for you.
Card level is now President (was Platinum). I must be looking at the Fiesta-based offer. So they posted the crappy one, and not the good one. Great.

Thanks for the replies.

We don't "do" hosts, but thank you.

My offers are pretty much 3 nights, double points, $40 Free Play, 2 buffets on a $15K daily average, NOT playing 100% and over games.

Talked to GVR and RR hosts and they won't do anything.

Station doesn't want visitors. I would recommend you try other casinos.
What exactly did you want a host to do??? You already have a free room, free play, multi-points, and some free food. There's nothing more any host can do for you until your trip. After you've played for a day or so, they would be able to comp you a meal, based on your play for that trip. But they're not able to sweeten your offer before you come.

I only suggested TonyCC contact a host because he is President level and should not have to pay for a room. If he is too stubborn to talk to a host ("we don't do hosts"), that's his choice -- and his loss.
Sue, we don't pay for rooms anywhere, President or not. That was the point of this thread. We both got free rooms for the last 10 years -- and then suddenly $79 for weeknights appears in the MyStation list. That must be the Fiesta-level offer you mentioned.

I am waiting for the comparable Stations-level offer to appear on My Station.com. So far nothing.

We don't do hosts because they hem, and they haw, and they dance all around it, saying basically that your play applies to the free room you're already getting first, and anything else is a stretch. We can't be bothered with that.

Thanks for the info.

Not the hosts I know. I see them writing comps and reserving comp rooms for players all the time. I have no idea why no comp rooms at Station properties are showing on your account. It could very well be an error. But you'll never know if you won't even contact a host, will you. Sometimes it's true that if you don't ask, you don't get.

I'll wait for the usual Station-level offer to appear on MyStation. If it doesn't, it's not that important, anyway.

Well, within the last year the following has happened...

At Sam's Town I talked to a host who increased my free play from $75 to $125 (on $12K a day)
At Luxor a host upgraded me to a Spa Suite (on $15K a day)
At MSS a host upgraded me from $35 Free Play to $125 Free Play and gave me RFB (on $15K a day)
At Hilton a host booked a second comped room for me and upgraded me to a suite (on $15K a day)

At GVR AFTER playing $20K in a day, they wouldn't comp a breakfast buffet. Told me to use points
At Red Rock despite playing consistently $20K a day they wouldn't up my Free Play ($40)

It's been my experience that Station hosts aren't interested in keeping mid roller visitors as guests. They are pleasant, friendly and not interested or unable to help.

There isn't a casino in town that offers less to a $10K to $25K a day out of town player. I'm not being mean, or mad it's just the way it is. It isn't how it used to be. Station used to be one of the best, just not anymore. Sorry if this upsets you.
