Strange thing about newest (January) Station offers on MyStation.com

I'm not upset, lol. I only know the hosts at Aliante, and they're all wonderful, IMO. Certainly not "snooty" like the ones at GVR I've heard about. I don't know what their parameters are for upgrading to suites. The only thing I do know, because one of them told me, is that they do NOT have the "power" to give free play. They are, however, quite generous with food comps, from what I've personally witnessed, especially to Platinum and above players.

I have to agree with Sue on this one.

Not just because she works there, but her opinion of the hosts
is exactly what I have experienced.

At GVR and RR the hosts are pleasant but won't give you anything.

The host at Aliante upgraded us to a suite. We didn't ask for food,
but I imagine she would have done something for that too.

The hosts at GVR and RR are all talk, no action.

Well, originally I was only asking about MARKETING OFFERS (The ones that appear on MyStation.com, followed by a mailer. - The free rooms + Buffet coupons + a little free-play, and 6x points.) The only offer that shows for January is pitifully bad. Apparently nobody else got this, because no one has mentioned it.

What I originally asked about has little (or nothing) to do with hosts.

Well, your offers are bad and hosts can't help. So your basically screwed. Change casinos. I am.

Sorry to sound like a broken record, but while Tony's offers are not good, hosts CAN help. He just refuses to talk to them, so it's his loss. He has a President level card, and I know a host at Aliante will give him a comped room and probably others goodies, as well. I can provide hosts' names, direct phone numbers, and email addresses if anyone is interested.

Sue, it has already been said that hosts cannot give out free-play. They probably also cannot give 6x points. They may be able to give 2 buffets, but they probably won't give 4 buffets (at the same time; we bring guests). Those are the offers that come in the mail, and those are the offers I plan our trips around. Those are the offers I was asking about. Not hosts. Thanks anyway.

Personally I've had good luck with my host at RR. She is pretty good about comps for the restaurants (like the Steak House) and it includes my guests. She takes care of the reservations several months out an updates them for offers that come in. I've never asked for a free play increase, but she has upgraded my room on numerous occassions. I almost never play the Optimas since I consider their FP DDB more than adequate.
The one at GVR is pretty lame, but than I don't go there often and usually always walkaway with a couple of W-2s when I do.
My host at Sams never answers my emails (but the special events coordinator does and keeps me abreast of upcoming tourneys) and I've been an Emerald there for a couple of years. Same goes for Orleans.

If I were Pres. level & getting squadoosh, I'd be upset too.
I think rattling some cages is in order.

Like tonycc, I like to SEE my offers. Either by mail or online.
When offers I should be getting, don't appear?
I will try to rectify it, but if they make it too hard, like uneffective hosts?
I usually, move on.
If the casinos snooze, they Lose...................me.
