Strange thing about newest (January) Station offers on MyStation.com

I hear ya Sue. Think Glenn Close.............I will Not be Ignored! lol

But I also think casinos are shooting themselves in the foot by not Listing ALL offers.
Perhaps online glitch? But it makes their upper/mid tier feel Not worthy, and they ARE Worthy.

I actually have More offers listed on stations........but sometimes they are difficult to book online.

My prob is with mgm...........M LIfe...........and virtually nothing listed.

Sounds like the prob tonycc has with stations. Frustrating!

I called Aliante Station to see if they could improve on my offers. She offered me a casino rate! Thanks but I already have 3 nights comped. Wasn't expect the host to try and downgrade me

Talked to Carol at GVR as well and was told for $20K a day that would just cover the room, nothing else. She laughed when i asked to be put on the standby suite list.

Ok, Tony, at least I tried

Haha, congratulations Kiwiboy1...... on your courage to make that call!!

I think I may have figured out what happened to our good offers.... it's the old "Wellllll, you WON too much!" excuse, which has been mentioned by others many times on this board with regard to Station offers.

We were already out of GVR anyway, because of a rude desk clerk -- she made us traipse out to our car (parked about 1/4 mile away -- on the other side of the casino) to get the piece of paper stating that the resort fee was waived --- before she would waive the resort fee!! Who needs that hassle?

Oh well. As you say, there are plenty of other places to stay.

After two stays this year (seven nights total) at Aliante Station and a third three-night stay booked for December, our online offers have actually gotten a tad better.
Instead of two free nights, we now get three any night of the week Nov. 1-Jan. 31 at any Station property except Red Rock, Green Valley (two nights, Sunday-Thursday).
Before, three free nights were limited to Texas Station, Palace Courtyard and the Fiestas.
Still awaiting Dec.15 and beyond mailer re. buffets and free slot play.
With normal play, Amy and I should reach Platinum level during out next stay.

Nickles, did you lose on your 2 previous stays? That could cause your offers to get better. Also, what type of machines did you play? Slot play will get you better offers than VP play. Offers are largely based on your average daily theoretical loss.
No slots; Amy plays any and all kinds of quarter VP; majority of my play was $1 FP DDB.
we lost in April; came out slightly ahead in Oct. on the machines, which was offset by my terrible weekend betting football!
we do like aliante, however. whereas sam's town used to get 98% of our play, we plan to again divide our play between the two properties going into 2012.
like others, we were befuddled by sam's town marketing offers earlier this year...but that has evened out over the last few months...silver card for food (everything except Billy Bob's), three nights and some free slot play, including $150 in free slot play for our dec. stay (in amy's name). we are at a sapphire level with boyd.
Station's snail-mail offers for Nov. arrived 11/8 and again, leave you scratching your head.
While comp room offers as noted on 11/4 post are better, the pair of 2 free buffet coupons were reduced to 1 free buffet per coupon.
Free slot play was increased by $20 to $25 and one 3X points day was increased to one 6X day.
Same offers for both Amy and myself.
Go figure.
Another frustration is always wondering if the mail offers which always seem to be a week into the particular month will arrive in time before we leave in Dec.
Pardon me, but isn't a 6X point day a 1.8% monster on +99% VP on the new card?
It's a 6 point day not x 6 points.
In reality, these bonus point days, which we have about once a week, amount to 2X points on video poker (6 points per $ instead of 3), and 3.34X points on slots (10 points per $ instead of 3).
