Strange thing about newest (January) Station offers on MyStation.com

Not knowing the content of his mailers, I had to ask about "one 3X points day was increased to one 6X day."
Some people are still getting 3X days with their hotel offers. This is better than a 6-point day, which is also offered, but I think mostly to locals in their monthly calendars. As I said, 6-point days amount to 2X.

exact wording: November mailing "6 points bonus day."
Oct. mailing: "Earn 3X points....we're giving you 3X points for your play." one day
in our case, then, slightly better room offers offset by not as good buffet or points mailer.

"November Specials" mailer came yesterday and, like Tony, I was shocked at the $79 weekday rate after years of free offers at Red Rock and GVR and no change in my play. There is a pattern emerging here.

My offers have been downgraded too.


I received the same offers it seems like everyone is getting. I usually stay at GVR and Red Rock, but thought I'd try Aliente. I called one of the hosts and was told the days were'nt available for my offer code.
I was a little upset, so the next day I thought I'd try the reservation number on the brochere, guess what
no problem 2 free nights on the same days the host said were unavailable!

Yes, I'm from Chicago. North Side and north suburbs until I moved to Vegas 6 years ago.
I just received an email offer from Stations for all hotels except GVR and RR - two free nights thru Jan 8th. However, on the email it also said: "Hotel Service Fee will be paid by the guest at time of check in." I thought free nights were excluded from the resort fee?

fredo, sounds like that is something new.

I'm wondering if Station's new system is similar to CET in that offers are more specific to one's play as opposed to being more generic based on similar play.
