Strange thing about newest (January) Station offers on MyStation.com

New mailer sucks big time. Pay to stay, $10 free play, 2 for 1 buffets??? Is this what really happens when you make President??
Wife's mailer considerably better than mine and I just bumped her to Platinium on last visit.

Sent an email to my RR host and she called back and said thats why I have her. Forget the mailers, she will take care of everything in January and April.

Captain, offers are based on theo not status. You can be gold and get better offers than chairman.

Station don't wont visitors. The offers are a joke. Look elsewhere.

A few comments on our offers after receiving them in the mail:

We departed for Las Vegas on November 8. Stations had still not mailed us the offers containing buffets which were good until Nov 30. So while in Vegas we ate the Sunset Station buffet 2 or three times, but with NO coupon. We did get half off points for being President.

Having stayed and played 3 nights at Sunset and one day at GVR, we selected 6x points for all the days, and we got $400 cash back at the end of the trip.

Also hit the trip's only Royal at GVR. Aw, shucks, "won" again. I am sure they will find a way to punish us.

When we got home and got our accumulated mail, the Station offers were there. Tonycc's was as described above: pay for rooms, 2 for 1 buffets, $10 free play, and 6x points. A huge drop from the former offers.

Bcc's offer was 2 free nights GVR and RR, 3 free nights all others, Sun-Thurs. Pay for weekends. + 2 free buffets, but -- and this is a big BUT --, the free buffets were a room credit and not a coupon. So you have to be actually checked in to the hotel to use the free buffets. That is a new development.

Also 6x points - However it is good only through 11/30/11. Since it was in the kioske, I believe we did take advantage of that 6x while we were there last week. I also did a trial run of booking the free nights Sun-Thurs, and the resort fee waived notice was, as always, in the terms and conditions on the about-to-book page.

Looks like you did about $70K in coin-in. For your troubles you get $10 in free play. WOW!!!! You can play $1K of coin-in at the Fitz and get $25!!!!!!

I love GVR, RR and Aliante, they just don't love us

Just got an email from my host saying cheapo mailer was sent in error. My offers have not changed for January.

I can see the room offers ending February 29 on MyStation.com, and they do appear to be back to normal (comps all days all casinos). But I'd have to see the mailer to be sure. I'm sure they'll mail them out sometime in mid-March...

I can see mine too and it's the same downgraded crap.

I have looked into Station Casinos a few different times over the last 10+ years I have been going to Vegas. Always inconsistent and changing. Have found best to just stick with Boyd and CET and have been very, very satisfied!

I just cancelled my stay at GVR next month. I talked to a host and they told me for $30K a day I would not get anything more than basic room comp. Ok...Bye!!!!

Called Sunset Station and talked to a host and she put me straight into a suite for my stay. Much better! Still same crappy offers but at least in a suite.

Does your Tier expire every 6 months??? What other Co. does that?

I played at RR last trip. My tier points were zero, and Acct. said I needed 1,000 points for Gold status.

I got 14,000 points after my stay..........so made Gold (not hard to do) but Now my Tier points say
they Expire 12/31

Huh? I go back to Zero after only a month?

This might be an ok system for Locals, but definately NOT for out-of-towners! sheesh!
