The amphitheatre is new and is outdoors. There's a place on the web page to click for the seating chart.
At Aliante, we've been selling tickets for the shows in this venue for a while. I've sold some to Randy Travis, and also the Doobie Brothers. ZZ Top will be there in October.
To get to the Amphitheater, walk past the front desk and down the long hallway toward the guest room elevators. Instead of turning to the guest room elevator area, walk straight ahead out the door and follow the crowd to the amphitheater.
On concert nights, this hallway is mobbed with people prior to the show.
Also, it is impossible to find a place to park, so get there several hours early. Very serious about this.... You could be cruising for a space for a long time.
Isn't that the same temporary concert stage they put up each year next to the pool. We were staying at SS about ten years ago-maybe less, and the staff left tickets in each room for guests to attend the concert. It was for TY Hernden who we never heard of, but for free we went. Even tho we had been to many rock concerts, we had never seen such a crowd of rednecks as for this concert. I've never seen so many people hauled out of a concert by police for being drunk and rowdy. It was unreal. On another stay, our room was at that end of the hallway and I was able to watch and hear the entire rehearsal concert for Dean Torrence of Jan and Dean fame. It does get extremely crowded so as noted arrive early if not staying there. BTW all seats are descent.
