After a year of not getting any free room offers from Venetian like so many other regulars I received an offer for 3 free nights with $45 free play and $30 off meal at Zine. Reading the fine print it will add "resort fee of $20 per day. Think I'll pass. No good video poker

Well 3 nights for $60 minus the $45 free play = $15.

Not a bad deal, .........just not the greatest, but it's still ONLY $15 !?!?!

I mean, it now can cost a couple almost that much now to eat at McDonald's (just sayin').

I hate to admit it........the V/P Tourneys & free offers have returned. Only took 'em a year & bad gamblin' to figure that one out? About dam* Time!!

Checked my Online offers, and NONE of them mention a resort fee.

Maybe its because I'm still Listed as Gold? I don't know if that affects fee or not?

But just wanted to let you know, mine don't have a resort fee.

Our offer doesn't mention a resort fee either. We were gold, but it has lapsed.

The only thing we like about the V is - when you are staying at Harrah's and don't want to get tripped for getting breakfast on the morning you check out, The Grand Lux Cafe is handy and kinda good.

I am Gold also and did succumb to their offers in September and November with no resort fee. I am still Gold and just booked 2 nights in January for which they told me I would be charged a resort fee. I mentioned I was Gold and my two previous stays without the fee and they said some offers come with the fee and some don't. I am getting free slot play which will offset the $40 in fees but I am also hoping when I get there they will not charge the fee.
