Switching "Home" Station's Casino

Here's the background: I've been a longtime Boulder Station guy who gets only BS offers (typically 3 nights comped, with repeats allowed after two days out of the hotel). I'm a low-mid level player who plays .25 VP and has maintained Platinum status for several years, with one year being at the President level. Whenever I've had a problem booking a room, my BS host would cover for me. In short,there's a lot to like about the relationship with BS.
However, we now want to switch, primarily for location reasons, to Sunset Station as our "home base" among the Station Casino chain. How do I go about getting that changed at their end since my play will now be at Sunset Station and would like the offers to come from there as well.
A secondary question would be who's a good host at Sunset? I had Tony Vega (love the name!) at BS, and he's been great to work with.

The key seems to be playing there. My primary is RR, but I love the SS casino decor and machines and play there some every trip. From my offers it appears that my home is both RR & SS, as I get the same type of offers from both (invited to NY's at both). Use Burma at the SS.

It will really just come down to playing there. The offers come from the promotions department (not really connected with the casino hosts) which simply notices that you have started playing there and are then prompted to begin sending you offers specific to that property.

As far as comped rooms, your current BS host will actually be able to get you comped rooms at any of the Station casinos (depending on your play). And you might even consider asking your current BS host to refer you to a new host at Sunset. If Tony is a stand up guy, he should not get upset that you begin playing somewhere else within the Station family especially if he gets credit for referring you to another host.

It has to be more than just playing there. I play the same amount at Red Rock and Boulder Station, but only get offers from Red Rock which aren't very good. It seems that Boulder Station as a lower level property would be sending me at least some offers but I get absolutely nothing from them.

Until your play at SS gets you on their radar for offers, your BS Host Tony should be able to pull up SS offers and set you up with one that is comparable to what he could offer you at BS.

When you ask Tony about this, also ask him if he would like to book SS offers for you. My guess is he will say "no worries, we don't work on commission, any of those SS Hosts will take care of you", etc.

But in the event they DO work on commission and it would help him to book your offers at any of the Stations properties, you have given him the opportunity.

Honestly, I think the Hosts don't give a rats butt about us low-mid players, whether we stay or go somewhere else. But it never hurts to do the honorable thing.
