Terribles Hotel Stay Notes

Stayed at Terribles on a 7 day comp Aug 2-Aug 9th

1. Very smokey casino where the smoke drifts into your room.

2. Best Cafe I have been to in Vegas. Cheap prices.. Great food..

3. Betting over $50 a hand will have a pit boss glued to the table and calling security to watch you.

4. Cashing in more then $500 will require a call to security

5. Cafe refused to give me To Go food even when the pit boss called cafe after betting 100-200 a hand and staying in the hotel. This was the only request I had during my stay and was denied..

6. Total coin in was $25,250

7. Lots of Kiosk games. Won a total of $425 in free slot play with various games.

8. Walk from my room to the casino was 30 seconds. Walk to my car from my room was 1 minute.

9. No ice machines. They make you use the pop machine in the gift shop.

10. Prices at the gift shop for beer and other items were cheaper then 7-11.

11. Room had a patio, large bathroom, plasma tv with only 5 channels, and comfortable bed.

12. I am stupid for accepting a comped trip to Terribles for 7 days.

13. Checked out 3 days early and moved to the Aria to live in luxury for the remaining 3 days. Aria is niiiiice with the best bed I have EVER slept in.

Those are my thoughts....

That's interesting, and good information if tempted to stay there (not me).

A friend and her husband wouldn't stay anywhere but The Continental (now Terribles).

She described it "old but their slots pay off real good."

I'm sure it was remodeled, but from your report I wonder how much?
Another note.. The drunks are all over at Terribles. I played live poker one night and had 5 players from my table get ejected at different times throughout the night. The bit bosses spend more time acting as security for drunks then actually rating and watching the tables.
Thanks for that report!

I visited a friend once who stayed there and the room was not smokey! Isn't there like two buildings there? Maybe the other one is better smoke-wise!

So there are no ice machines if you have a cooler to keep food cold? If so, that's not good!

Thanks for the report. I've never stayed there but I've played there quite a bit, VP and Bingo.

I agree re: the Cafe. $3 BIG breakfast and it's good and fresh, but service is often so slow I want to scream. You can earn the points for that "breakfast", which can be purchased 24/7, in about 2 seconds, especially on a multi-point day.

I love the various swipe promos and daily slot tournaments, as well as .2 % return for VP and 5x VP on Fridays (5x VP points used to be on Tuesdays and Thursdays). It's the only place I know of where you can get an extra full 1% return on 25 cent and 50 cent 9/6 JoB.
Loved every word... lmao.

we missed you at the ACLVA meet.. it was awesome!
the cafe is one of my faves to get real food on getaway day, especially compared to the hilton paradise at 15 bucks for breakfast. The room i walked out on had so much perfume I might have been better off had smoke been the prevailing scent. The comps are fast but I wouldn't have known about the 5x friday until i read this string. I barely notice inebriates since I'm pretty focused when at VP. I had a pretty heavenly bed in a double harrahs suite @NOLA sunday night. It never hurts to know where the next great nights sleep is waiting, so thanks, and Good Luck!
