tipping for room service, etc.

Well, since you brought up this tipping blast from the past franco..............I talked with a Valet recently,
and he told me they are Happy to accept Tito's as Tips.

I've been cashing out small Tito's.......$1 or $2.......... to tip the Cocktail servers, for a long time.

And I thought I was the only one leaving Tito's for the Housekeepers, yet
still breaking bills for Valet. Guess I won't be doing that anymore.

Yeah, very true CLV lol. I use to tip valet $3 all the time when I first started driving to Vegas, until my trips became more frequent. Then a buddy of mine told me they are happy with 1-$2. A friend of mine has a brother who worked as a valet in Vegas. He told me there are alot of people who take advantage of the FREE valet and don't tip at all, which I think is not cool. That's how those people make thier living. BTW, when you going back? I'll be back there Feb.29 for 3 nights.
franco,
she's there now..
Just curious.... can casino employees cash out TITO's from guests? I'm thinking it though and I can't see why not.... but I would hate to tip someone and find out that they can't cash it out.
Here's my thinking.... If a housekeeper picked up a TITO and cashed it she/he could be in big trouble! It may be different for valets.

Anyone?

Casino workers get tips in cash, casino chips and TITO. I know a housekeeper at Venetian who twice got tipped in "Lap Dance" chips from Spearmint Rhino. An employee can cash out these tokes at the casino cage or in the case of TITO - at a kiosk. The Venetian housekeeper asked me to go to Rhino to cash out the chips for her, of course, when they do accept the chips, Rhino will only return $ .90 on the dollar as they keep 10% for themselves.

What does the Spearmint Rhino need chips for? Can you gamble there?
Are there tables for playing games she said innocently?
I'm sure that if you go to the VIP private rooms in the back there are tables for playing games, but they have nothing to do with gambling!
