Treasure Island - TI

Anybody ever stay here? How are the rooms, restaurants, fitness center/spa?

What other hotel would you compare the rooms to?

We stayed there last trip and were comped one of their petite suites. All rooms have been redone and would describe our room more along the lines of upscale chain hotel/motels like say a Hampton Inn then fancy Vegas rooms. Comfortable and quiet for some reason the petite suites have two separate bathrooms.

Restaurants nothing to write home about. The coffee shop does a nice breakfast, some good omlets and things like that. Best thing is a starbucks there. Also the deli isnt bad for a quick bite and most sandwiches great for splitting between two people.

They do still have plenty of 9/6 JOB at .50 and up so one of the better plays for $1 gamblers on the strip.

I have stayed at TI a couple of times. I went to a Halloween slot tournament last October and it was fun. Standard rooms are nice and comfortable. I stayed in one of their mini suites a few years ago and it was huge for me by myself. I enjoyed alternatng bathrooms, though. I have eaten at the steakhouse at TI a couple of times and always had good meals there, albeit pricier than my usual buffet and coffeeshop fare. I always really liked the hot roast beef sandwich at the TI coffee shop but it seems that they don't have it any more--only have hot turkey sandwich. But it's good. And they still have keno service--a plus in my book.

We stayed there for the 1st time in December. Rooms were fine, view from our room was spectacular as we could see the Volcano, Bellagio fountains, and the Venetian Christmas stuff.

What I did notice was that there were more prostitutes blatantly operating there than any other casino we've stayed in. One even propositioned me w/ my wife standing a few feet away. Wondering if someone at the hotel was getting a kickback or something...
