Up to Date Details on GVR

Unless they have reinstated it, GVR dropped the shuttle to and from Mandalay Bay over a year ago, like in the middle of our stay. One day they had it, the next day it was discontinued...cost cutting measure...laid off some drivers. The guy suggested we take the shuttle to the airport and cab it to MB, which is way cheaper than cabbing from GVR to MB or any place else on the Strip. Of course they don't encourage that practive if they need the seats for actual airport-bound customers.

Maybe they have started the MB shuttle up again, but if that is a factor in staying there you should call and ask. It was free and it was reliable.

GVR is our destination for a week in mid March. We didn't get out there last year but they are still comping room, "Partial Food" which means everything except Hanks and Limo. Of course, the shuttle used to be listed as one of the benefits/reasons for the need for the $20+ resort fee. I'll take a wild guess that the fee wasn't reduced when they discontinued the shuttle.

You're right, they didn't lower the resort fee.

Hey, it's GVR - be thankful they didn't RAISE the resort fee, which is about $28 after taxes.

The flyer for the free shuttle is still on their website. Is it really discontinued?
