Update: Stations Offers

As an update to this thread. . . my new mailer shows improvement. It says, and I quote, "Free Slot Play valid for only dates listed above. Hotel Check in is not required. (c) 2011 Stations Casinos. All rights reserved."

The amount of FSP is lower than before. The number of comped rooms and buffets are the same as May and previous months.

Not that I'll be in Vegas before August 15 and able to use it, I'm glad to see things moving in the right direction.

I don't know what's going on with my Station offers. I was getting free nights
at ANY station property. I have spent 3 nights at Red Rock my past two trips
and significantly increased my coin in. I have not been playing positive expectation
exclusively. For some reason my Station offers have dried up. The only current
offer I have out there is for two free nights at Boulder Station. I really do like all
of the station properties, but I am getting better offers for M resort, Silverton, Main
Street Station, etc for a LOT less play. I hope something changes as I have quite a
bit of time until my next trip and would prefer staying at Station properties.

If the FSP is lower, not sure how this is an improvement? Checking into a hotel costs nothing.

I don't have to check into a hotel to use it. The FSP is more than my June offer but less than May and April.
Checking into a room that I'm not going to use IMHO is a hassle.

They are going back to how they used to do it?

My current offers only has FP IF I'm checked into a room there.
Haven't had any changes except for less comp nites & less FP.

I've stayed at RR last 3 trips and will be there this weekend and Sept again. I have been receiving regular 3 any night offers there with FP & food credit...which is usually improved on by my host.
But my stays at RR appears to have hurt my other Station offers, especially GVR & Sunset, as I seem to have dropped off their radar. Pretty sure I wouldn't have a problem get free rooms there, but the FP & food might be a different story without offers.

I'm the original poster to the previous thread... the one who was waiting on a July mailer that didn't make it in time for my July 2nd trip. Sure enough, the mailer was waiting for me when I arrived home on the 8th, with coupons that will expire on July 31st. Sure would loved to have had them when I left!

I significantly increased my coin-in play at both GVR and RR this past week, and spentr quite some time at the blackjack tables as well... It will be interesting to see if that sparks any changes in the offers I receive, although there appears to be neither rhyme nor reason. A friend I traveled with had much better offers, even though she plays MUCH less thhan I do... Maybe they offer more to people who they figure would otherwise be less likely come and stay...

Well forwhatever its worth Matt...I am still waiting for my July 1-August 30th Sante fe mailer. All I know is that its a "hotel offer". Hopefully it will arrive either by snail mail or online.

Glad to hear you enjoyed the Aliante. I'll be there 8/19-21st. (I'll see if I too can find the FAMOUS SueCasey).
