Ven/Pal Offers Fine Print...........

Trust is a two-way street. Not only do I not trust V/P, obviously they no longer trust me - and with good reason.

I was a Gold player from 2006 – 2009. We loved the vp, rooms and Strip location of both V and P, but we hated it when they downgraded the vp in 2009.

We continued to receive free rooms & fsp offers for a couple of years after reduced play. Husband and I both took the offers for free rooms and fsp and did minimal to no gambling there. We booked our friends in V/P rooms many times - which I suppose is cheating on my part.

I knew I was “burning bridges” with V/P during that time. But we enjoyed many lovely rooms and good times, and I made many friends happy campers .

Husband and I have both been totally cut off – not one offer of any sort for either of us in months. I think we have reached the status of “No Mail.”

So, with both parties at fault and no trust on either side of the relationship, a divorce was imminent.

Never marry a casino, especially if you’re going to cheat on them.

Good analogy agnes. You had a good run, and expected to be cut off at some point.

And like I said in my letter..........I expect to be cut off, IF I don't play.

The prob is they cut ALL of us off 9 months ago, and most of us DID play..........Alot.
Unheard of.

My point to them is IF they expect to lure any of us back? They better drop the Fine print.
We don't trust them. And I won't be beholdin' to 'em.

My status there this year, remains zero.

That is GOOD Stuff Agnes! And just when I was about to get excited about my "new" offer from V/P for $119.00 a night

I took the V/P up on the 3 free night offer. stayed 7/5 - 7/8. I diidn't come close to the level of play I had done on other trips. But I did get a free upgrade to the P, as the room the gave me already had a guest in it. Then I got a notice on my players card,wed evening, as I was playing slots to come to the players club. I did and was given 2 free tickets to blueman group for thurday. All comped at check out. Had a great trip over all.

They've been vewy vewy qwiet.......

Anyone else have their newly returned offers suddenly dry up? I was back on the three free nights list, but my offers now end Oct. 6, with nothing else pending.

Hey, you're lucky you still have until October 6. I gave in and took an offer for 3 free nights, 2 tickets to the Phantom and free slot play on Sept 4-7. I earned 15,000+ status points while there so I did my part in reciprocating their offer. I checked the website when I got back to see how many points I had earned and found that I no longer had any offers - a big "Thank You" from the Palazzo for my play!

So I guess instead of rewarding loyalty, they're now going to reward loyalty when it's convenient for them with the ever-present fine print that they can rescind their loyalty at any time.

Awesome business model.
