Venetian is ridiculous

This totally cracked me up. They won't send offers to players anymore, but they'll send discounted room offers and try to entice you to gain Gold or Platinum status? Check this out:



Notice the "Scott, receive 5,000 Status Points towards Gold and Platinum Status" at the top of the email!

Question- does having a lot of "status points" equate to anything worthwhile? Or are they just an indicator to the Venetian as to the level of stupidity and gullibility that the Grazie member has?

Status points are what gets you the Gold card or Platinum card and the benefits that go along with them. Can't see how that would be much now since they're only comping high rollers!

That's why I had to post this ridiculousness! lol

I knew that things were going to be bad for players when I read that they were basicaly going to return to players about 6% of their theoloretical loss as opposed to the normal about 20-40%!

That is such a terribly paltry return!
