Venetian/Palazzo, Offers, online or snail mail? UPDATES, if you have any New Info? Thx.

Funny you should mention it............I've been talking with a rival Reporter myself. lol

My guess something will come to a head for better or worse, in the near future.

At least it will come to light in the media soon.

I just hope the others don't jump on the band wagon and start eliminating our offers for free rooms.

I could care less. We stopped going to Vegas. Better VP schedules in A.C., shorter flights (comped) and better Diamond Clubs. They (A.C.) still want our business. And I am happy to give it to them. Amen.
Oh! And no Resort fees or "Enhancement" fees! They (A.C.) still want our business. And I am happy to give it to them.

Then drales, why are you hanging out on a Vegas board?

And were talking about Ven/Pal which Sands doesn't even own anything in AC, do they?

In any case, most of us are moving on to Other props/greener pastures...........in VEGAS.
And by the time V/P is done "reorganzing" their NEW system?
Thats over 3 month of Comp stays that they've already axed us on. Not right, and like
an elephant, we never forget.

I wonder what percentage of the 6000+ rooms in the entire Venetian Hotel complex were consistently booked by comped gamblers in on promotions. The fact that they pulled everything for what amounts to almost 6 calendar months leads me to believe that they're trying to make a go of it without bringing in any gamblers at all. I guess they want to see if they can attract enough tourist and business customers who will pay 100% for everything and save money by not offering any comps, tournaments, gifts or free slot play at all
I am hoping that when I check in at Palazzo in 3 weeks for my comped stay in 3 weeks, that the invited guest line will be pretty much empty. Sure sounds like it. The whole hotel may be pretty much empty.

I haven't received any offers in the mail at all, but got a call and an email from a new 'player development rep' I think right before Christmas? Perhaps they are just offering me a comp because I did not stay or play there in 2010. at all.
I receieved offers from Summer 2009 up until Summer 2010. I haven't seen anything since maybe September or October. I guess V/P doesn't want my low rolling anymore.

Whatever, I'll just stick with South Point.
I emailed Tyler Bain and so far have gotten nothing back. I guess either I am of no interest to them or they just don't care.
Such a shame because I really did enjoy the rooms there.
No word from Tyler here either...........who knows if he's even still employed there???

I started thinking about all the businesses at V/P and wondering how this is affecting THEIR business?

So, I called Canyon Ranch Salon to set up an Appt. Neither of the gals I've used in the past are available, or booking on the dates I wanted. Cutting back hours?
I talked with someone there & said to pass along to their Mgr. what V/P Promotions/Marketing
ISN'T doing for their thousands of longtime customers..........and if businsess is slower than usual?
That Could be the reason.

I believe its been almost 4 months now since I've received any new Offers from V/P.

And the Reporter I've been speaking with.......says they plan to do a story soon as V/P rolls
out their (supposedly) NEW system.

If Any of us are still around, when/IF they do?
