Venetian/Palazzo, Offers, online or snail mail? UPDATES, if you have any New Info? Thx.

someone I know from another forum is staying at palazzo the same weekend in February as I am. She and her husband got the same freeplay they always get. I thought it would be tacky to inquire exactly how much if she wasn't sharing that info. But I am kind of jealous. At the end of the year, they sent me an offer including $400 in free play and Phantom tix and I think there was a $50 resort credit too. Now all I get is the comped room.

Take it & enjoy. Burn 'em & don't have to worry about it.

I won't be playing there anymore unless they do a 360 on their current situation.

Yesterday, got an email from someone saying they are my Contact for booking, yada yada.
No mention of offers of course.

Going to email back & ask (again) What about Offers? Was Promotions/Marketing staff let go?

No more Tourneys? Freeplay? Still treating Gold as rubbish?

STILL Nothing listed online offers. Nada.
Last year I had over a dozen per month.
They're nuts.

I've gotten 3 email responses, including Tyler Bain. They were ALL similar replies.

In a nutshell, they're arent doing squat for us til their NEW system gets rolled out,
whenever that may be???
V/P doesn't seem to care that there haven't been any offers in over 4 months.

I told them, in so many words, Good luck with all the penny & nickle Conventioners
they're "selling" rooms to. Me & my fellow LOYAL Grazie Club members will be
playing down the street..........or across the street.

It's pretty pathetic. They haven't sent me squat since 2nd Quarter 2010. I guess I'll just be playing some hold'em @ the Venetian and giving them no other action or buying their overpriced food.

I'm curious to know how this has REALLY affected their business over the past few months?
I mean, I was there early Dec., but that was from an offer from Sept.

I gave them a helluva lotta play last year, and the past several years.
Thousands of other Grazie members in the same boat..........and V/P doesn't seem to give a rats a$$.

I plan to pop in there next week, and get my freeplay converted to Gift card,
and spend it in the Salon. Then I will be officially DONE with 'em.

Hi all...

Finally retired and hope to spend a little more time on this Board now. We are trying to plan our April trip and we've been waiting for some offers from V/P (we are gold). After our October 4 night comp stay, we really haven't received much in the mail, and we've been receiving comp offers ever since the Venetian opened!

I finally called Club Grazie today, and spoke to a very nice rep, who told me they are no longer sending out offers in the mail because they have no rooms to offer -- they are full! Hard to believe, but I wasn't going to argue with her. She offered us a casino rate of $179 (Saturday, and $129 (Sunday - Tuesday). I told her we can get comp rooms almost everywhere in LV, so we'll take a pass. She told me the situation might change (which it probably will in July/August when the convention business dries up), and I told her if it does change, maybe we'll be back.

I, too, would love to be able to see the occupancy figures for the V/P, at least for the 1st quarter of 2011.

We'll be spending more time at Paris or other Harrah's properties, and probably Tuscany, Green Valley Ranch, Suncoast, or other local properties during our planned four trips this year (8 nights each).

CLV....how do you arrive at that number of thousands of people who are no longer getting offers number? I see maybe 30 or so who have posted here about it.

I checked my V/P win/loss for 2010. I thought I remembered playing there one day last year while passing through. Coin in $38/coin out $38.

One Annual tourney I did, had close to 2,000 people each time.
Imagine how many More people they invited, just to get that figure to come?

That's just ONE example. ONE Event. Think of all the OTHER Offers & Events they AREN'T doing now?

Yes, its THOUSANDS, (NOT 30 or 40, LOL) of Loyal customers who have frequented V/P, and are No longer receiving offers.................. for Months & months............
