Currently in Vegas staying at Palazzo. If you're a poker player, steer clear of V/P. The Venetian poker room is closed for at least a month (according to floor slot manager) as it undergoes renovation. They've set up a temporary poker room at Palazzo near the Grazie desk.
If you're a slot player, steer clear of Venetian for now, too. They have a giant area in the center of the casino draped off for more "renovations" and along with removing a ton of games, have crammed most of the remaining ones into the available space. You literally cannot back your chair up two inches without hitting someone behind you.
And their paltry VP offerings just became more laughable. I literally counted nine machines in the entire casino...those ancient Game Kings and two or three multi-line games. Pretty sad that they've just given up on VP players, but I could deal with that and play slots when it was a somewhat comfortable environment.
Definitely not that at the moment.
