Venetian renovations

Currently in Vegas staying at Palazzo. If you're a poker player, steer clear of V/P. The Venetian poker room is closed for at least a month (according to floor slot manager) as it undergoes renovation. They've set up a temporary poker room at Palazzo near the Grazie desk.

If you're a slot player, steer clear of Venetian for now, too. They have a giant area in the center of the casino draped off for more "renovations" and along with removing a ton of games, have crammed most of the remaining ones into the available space. You literally cannot back your chair up two inches without hitting someone behind you.

And their paltry VP offerings just became more laughable. I literally counted nine machines in the entire casino...those ancient Game Kings and two or three multi-line games. Pretty sad that they've just given up on VP players, but I could deal with that and play slots when it was a somewhat comfortable environment.

Definitely not that at the moment.
Hopefully it is a little better by the time we are there in Sept. Surprisingly we did ok gambling there in June. I spent quite a bit of time at the QQs and 50plays in Palazzo, and slots were good to us in V. They were already starting on the renos at that time.
Any update on the renovation as I had planned on staying either at the venetian or aria in december, as we plan to celebrate my grandaughter's 21st birthday. I have reservations at both and will cancel one of them accordingly next month? I appreciate your imput
Ven/Pal casinos are virtually DONE. They still move things around allittle for Tourneys.........but
construction is done. I'm amazed to report I kicked butt last trip between Ven/Pal. on Vp.
Two different machines, I held one card & got a quarter Royal. Couple other similar hits. Go figure.
Hope you have good luck there too. The tourney offers are back, and its good to be Gold again.

Aria, as much as I like the casino...........I HATE the Freestanding ashtrays at the Ends of the
machine banks. Way too smokey. All the Non-gamblers that STAND there, around the ashtrays smoking,
while you attempt to Gamble. Really bad for non-smokers & a dam shame for a newer casino.
Otherwise, the rooms are schweet.
