What to do with free play - now that Palms has been sold?

Hi!
I need some advice. I just read that Stations has purchased Palms casino. I have close to $100 in accumulated free play at the Palms. I won't be going to the Palms until late July, because I live in Chicago, and that is when my next trip will be. My intent would be to use the entire free play amount when I go there in july. My question is: will the takeover of Palms be completed by late July? Do you think my free play will still be available at that time, or am I out of luck? Any suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks!
Connell
Can you call the Palms players club and ask what they know about it?

No it takes longer for a deal of that magnitude to take place, but in any case I am sure Stations will honor your freeplay.
probably still fine in July. I would most certainly use every last cent of it on that visit though.

The announcement of the purchase stated that the deal would not be finalized until the 3rd quarter of the year. They need to get approval of Federal and State regulators. And the sales contract needs to be approved by the three parties involved.

I would bet that when you come in late July, the deal has not been finalized.

With all due respect to Westie, I would not put anything past Stations. Making a statement that Stations would honor the free play is simply wishful thinking.
