Where Would You Stay - California or Main Street Station?

Across the street yes, but the Cal sits further back by 1st street rather than just across the street on Main St. So if you want a closer walking distance to Fremont St. then I'd go with the Cal over MSS. That was the only thing I liked about staying at the Cal over MSS, however, now I prefer the Golden Nugget.

Wow. I must keep an eye on this thread. Just got a mailer offering me 2 nights at either the Cal or MSS between now and Sept . I have only stayed at MSS in the past so keep the feedback comin!
