Wow this place is dead

I can not believe how slow these forums have become. Not one mention or discussion of Boyd gaming buying the Cannery casinos and also the news of them also buying the Alliente Casino. No thoughts or comments on this?
You are right , what is the reason???
Surprise to me on the Cannery and Alliente and I had lunch with the GM (my host) at Sams earlier this week.

Always get the Suite A on my visits and this visit got upgraded to a suite double the size. It was on the 9th floor and we were leery about the smoking floor, but the suite had no problem. Couldn't even hear the wife's TV in the bedroom when I was reading in the living room. Very nice.
I hear you on the inactivity, but I think if you had turned your header around and had Boyd acquisition in the title and then in the subject matter indicate how slow things are I think you would have seen responses.
That being said I think its a great move. I think they can turn Alliente around, can understand going after Cannery, but I have a problem with the East Side Cannery. Yes a great purchase, but what do you do with Samstown-same ownership next to each other. Maybe they would shut Sams down.

boyds has 3 casinos downtown--- mss ,California and the freemont-----they seem to complement each other with no issues of which I am aware----doubt if they would shut down sams----or-----maybe the sale does not include eastside cannery-----
I'm pretty sure I read in the R-J that it does include Eastside. And Stations has several casinos (and little joints it owns) in close proximity around Henderson, so closeness isn't necessarily a problem.
