I found the concept of a free online casino connected to LVA intriguing, and have enjoyed some of the poker tournaments in recent months. Unfortunately, today was the last straw that gives me little confidence in the website--whoever the hosting company is, their standards aren't up to the great experience I've had over the years w/LVA:
1. A couple months ago, the system automatically assigned final places and gave out rewards when everyone made the final table, based on the number of chips people brought to the final table. Not a big deal, as it was early in beta test.
2. Last Thursday, when playing in the poker tournament, I was kicked out of the system--all names and amounts at the table just became blank. I assumed it was a website issue, as I still had internet for all else that I was doing--was told later that I just disappeared from the table, and that I should have logged out and then back in to get back into the tournament.
3. Registered yesterday for today's much touted tournament--and couldn't even get past the home page to play in it. Customer service apologized and said there'd be other tournaments on the hour the rest of the afternoon--but an hour after the tournament started I still can't get past the home page to register for any of them.
Obviously, all this is free so no $ is lost--but a lot of time and effort has been. I'll stick w/the great LVA website and coupons, and just wait for legalized online poker elsewhere.
