Aliante

I'm from out of town and have played Aliante 2-3 a year (the price is good using the OBSports Card) but it's been looking a little ragged the last couple times we've played there. Anyone know what kind of shape the course is in now? Many thanks for sharing whatever info you have.

I was in Vegas last week and played a nearby course - Palm Valley on a Groupon for $34.

VERY ENJOYABLE and HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

It is a Del Webb community, but the homes are not too close and I never lost a golf ball. The course is challenging enough but not ridiculous. The grill is a great place for lunch if you can navigate the dozens of residents in their golf carts.

I also did Alient ~5 years ago and enjoyed it, but have not been out there recently.

I haven't played there in a few years, but stopped in a couple of trips back when I checked out the casino. The range and the holes I saw looked bad. I was also suprised when an employee offered me a round for $35 at 10 in the morning during the high season! Didn't look like there were many players out there, but that was a first.
