Any golf trips planned?

I've still got the bug after being in Maui last week so we're trying to get back to the islands in August. I'll be in La Quinta in July for the guys annual junket. We're gonna play Mission Hills then round out at PGA West and LQ Mountain. Mesquite in November for my annual tourney and a week in Scottsdale in December. Would love to hook up something in Bend or Bandon in September if we head up to Eugene for a Ducks game but that's looking dicey at best.

You guys have anything planned?
Planning out October Trip to Vegas and have two Groupons purchased already for Highland Falls and Black Mountain. Good value for ~ $30 per round.

Golf and deals are a great combo.
Time was that $30 wasn't a bad price for an executive nine in LV in Oct. Times have sure changed. Time was that you couldn't get rate during the summer.

Good Luck!

It will be interesting to see how Vegas golf responds when things finally rebound. There still will be the upper-crust charging through the nose because those courses are casino amenities first. The question will be the mid-tier joints that thought they were Kapalua.

Might want to change that black mountain plans....that is by far the worse course in town.....I played there several months ago and refuse to play there again for several years. Read this thread: Black Mountain Review
Worst course because of routing and the like, or worst course because you unfortunately played it under horrid conditions? Black Mountain has over the years earned a deserved reputation for letting conditions run the gamut. I guess the question is, what kinda shape will it be in come October? One thing about Vegas golf that might not be obvious is that for all the summertime heat, Vegas is damn hard on courses come winter, and it takes a lot of know-how and cash to keep a course unnaturally green, like Americans want their courses. And for courses that don't overseed, things can be very dicey.

I was referring to the course being sabotaged by the grounds keeper before leaving a while back. When I played it the condition was the worst I have ever seen. I would be very surprised if it was in good shape by October.
Thanks for the information LasVegasRealEstate. You played in January and hopefully things will be better by October. I already bought the groupon so I am "pot committed" so to speak. On the positive side they groupon includes $1 beers at the clubhouse

I'll report back in October!

As for your other thread - I als love Pauit and have played all three courses. The prices are a little steep but the golf, clubhouse, and service are top tier.

Well hopefully it is in better shape for you my friend! If not at least you can get drunk at the clubhouse for cheap! lol

Enjoy your trip and we will be looking for your trip report afterward.
