Anyone heard of VIP Golf Services?

Has anyone used or heard of VIP Golf Services (www.vipgolfservices.com)? I just want to make sure before I give them my credit card information. Thanks.

I don't know anything about them. What's the advantage? I checked prices for three courses randomly and they're the exact ones available from the courses themselves.

While they have a published rate they offered me a $10 discount off the published rate. I did have a group of 12, so may be that may have had an influence. The other possible advantage is they have some of the private courses and you can book a tee time immediately, versus having to wait for a week before your desired tee time. Cancellation or change policy is the normal 2 to 3 days in advance.

With 12 you might want to talk to the club's, too, though many consider 16 a group outing. Private club access can be good, I just didn't really look at the rota. As long as their legit -- which I know you are trying to determine -- then it's a winner. Who is citing waiting until a week before, certainly not the clubs themselves???

Interestingly it was a private course (Spanish Trails) that said they'd only take the reservation a week and a half in advance. You'd think they would have just worked directly with us, but I guess they have their policies.

That's the feigned air of superiority effect. lol ST is worth a look-see, but there are a good 15, at least, better plays on the public side. But if you've checked them off your bucket list or have always wanted to do ST, give it a rip. I need to go look up what over privates that service "offers."

OK, took a look. If you really want to play private then do Anthem or DragonRidge over ST.

Ken, thanks a bunch. Always good to do some due diligence on these golf services. By the way I read your article about your hike through Waimea Canyon. Nice! The only thing that drove me nuts about Waimea Canyon were all the chickens (jungle fowl).
