He just always seems to push everything to the limit. His company does do a lot for Opportunity Village though, which is nice.

I agree that Billy Walters has treated locals here badly and he should be ashamed of himself for his slimy tactics. I believe in doing good business it is a shame that everyone does not operate their businesses with that level of integrity.
Yeah, it seems that every project he has been involved in has had some sort of less than outstanding factor come to light. One of his best was probably the one involving Wildhorse. It always struggled as a "resort" course. Conditioning was a recurant problem as was customer service usually. At one point Walter's group bought the place with the promise to upgrade the course. They moved the driving range and redid a couple of opening holes and the next thing you hear is that he's got the city of Henderson purchasing not for cash but for a land swap. They got the course and he got some developable land located in Henderson. The value of this land was nearly three times his investment in Wildhorse. I'm not sure if the entire city counsel was napping during negotiations or what, but it looked liked he got 'em. This was around the time of the downturn so he may not have come out on the deal. He just always seems to be involved in deals that are on the edge.
On the other hand, Henderson may have been ripe for the picking.

Good Luck!
