Bubba masters champion

I would have never thought that Bubba could putt well enough to win the masters. The shot that he hit from the pine straw on the 2nd playoff hole was pretty unbelievable.

Good for him, seems like a likable down to earth kind of guy.
Bubba and I have something in common - neither of us have a swing coach.

For some reason he still golfs better.
Bubba is something else. The hook shot he hit from the trees was unreal. What gets me is hearing a commentator talk about him sometimes starting a teeshot 30-40 yards left or right of a faiway just because! The other shot I'll never forget was a tournament last year (can't remember which) when he was about 270 out with an iron in his hand. One of the tv guys said he must be laying up. The other pointed out he had a 4 iron which would not be a layup club for him. He hit the shot and ran the ball up onto to the green with the 4!
It was pointed out that he wasn't downwind, but had a crosswind. 270 with a four!

I was glad to see him win. Here in Seattle, Freddie was of course a sentimental fav, but that story followed the inevitable script. Still, it was great to see him co-lead a round.

Good Luck!

And what about that driver he hit from the deck at Kapalua last year, on 18 in the final round? A couple years back Bubba did a demonstration at an event in Scottsdale. Coolest thing was when he took a right-handed driver, inverted it, and hit a drive 300+, on target, into the wind, and it was damn early on a frigid desert morn.

And the good thing is that hopefully, we'll get to watch for a number of years. On the other hand, I wouldn't be suprised to hear him announce his retirement after the adoption of their second child to become Mr. Mom!
"I'd like to thank everyone for their continued support, but I decided that I'm more needed at home!" This guy would not suprise me one bit.

Good Luck!

He bought the General Lee car from the Dukes of Hazard with his winnings! Gotta love this guy!

Not his Masters winnings.
What? He already had that car? I thought he bought it right after he won?
January.
If you watched the Feherety show he taped long before the Masters, you see him giving Mr. F a ride in the Gen Lee.

Good Luck!
