Course conditions

We are going to be in Vegas May 1-10th.
We plan on playing Wolf creek, Boulder Creek, Primm, Black Mountain, Piaute and Laughlin ranch.
Possibly Bears Best or one of the other Henderson courses if time permits and my dream round at Cascata if I hit it big one night.

I know these courses are usually in pretty good shape, but I was wondering if anyone has played them lately, and if so what shape are they in.

Thank for any responses.
looking forward to some fun round of golf in 2 weeks.
Since no one else has responded, I'll jump in. You'll be playing at my favorite time of the year in Vegas. Not only is the weather great without amping up too much, I think the courses are at their best in May. All the courses you mentioned aside from Black Mtn are known for conditioning. Nothing wrong woth Black Mtn, I just wouldn't put it in the same catagory as the others. I've played there many times and will play there again. Put Primm and the Pauite at the top of your list. Both excel at at conditioning and service. Sorry I can't give you a first hand report, but I doubt you have any problems with conditioning at those courses. Be sure to give us a report when you get back.

Good Luck!

I have played Boulder City, Boulder Creek, and Black mountain in the last three weeks. Boulder City and Boulder creek were in excellent condition and very plush. Black Mountain was okay but the greens were a little rough.
I've never had much of a problem with Black Mountain aside from the pricing. Fortunately for me, my local buddy gets me on for his price when we play there. It's always seemed to me that they bump the price for touristas because they are a "semi-private" club. Fact is that as a non-resident I can pay about $20 more and play the Legacy in Green Valley and there is comparing the two. If I didn't get the local price, I'd drive another ten minutes and play Boulder City for $20-25 less.

Good Luck!

We just amended and made some of our tee times.
5/2 Wolf Creek
5/3 still open
5/4 Boulder creek
5/5 Laughlin Ranch
5/6 Mountain Falls Parhrump
5/7 looking for the best deal
5/9 Angel Park

This should be an interesting week, so far this year have only swung the clubs in a simulator.
I may have to find a couple of cute Asian girls for some messages in between rounds.
Hope to at least hit a outdoor range a couple of times this week.
The weather here in Wisconsin hasn't been the best for golf so far this year.
I'll let you know how it went when I get back.

Thanks for your replies guys.

Looks like a great week of golf for you. Having only played once since late October and going to the range twice, a week like that could ruin my back, but I'd have fun doing it! Look forward to your report.

Good Luck!

Quite a schedule. Try and squeeze Paiute in there.
I agree. You should give Black Mountain the finger and play any of the Paiute courses.
A motion has been made, we have a second. All in favor say aye!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good Luck!
