Favorite tourney of the year, it's Masters time

Ready to relax this week and partake the viewing of the Masters. What I don't catch live I will record. Usual suspects should give it a good run this week. Tiger appears more ready than the past couple of years. Lefty seems to iron out that wandering driver for this week and challenge.

Who are your picks??

Not my fave, but I'll watch every second, if I can. I just wish everyone wouldn't blow Augusta National at every opportunity and the mute button sure helps with the maudlin intros and set pieces.

I picked all four major winners last year so I'm retiring.

For me, I like the Masters and the US Open equally.

"Blowing" Augusta National is not only brilliant but it is accurate. I also get annoyed with it.

I liken the Masters to the Superbowl in a way. If you're a football fan, you watch the game. I can't say that I spend more time watching the Masters than any other major, but I do enjoy the scenery and the color dye they put in the ponds. Seriously, one thing I do like is knowing the holes and pin placements etc. Not a fan of the tradition as it reminds me of many negatives. Even though he's on record that he would never return even if asked by Augusta, I miss McCord. You can never go wrong with bikini wax and body bags!

Can't agree on McCord. His schtick is old old old. If he never broadcasts another tourney it will be too soon.

I don't have a problem with Augusta's anachronistic narcissism. It's a private club, they can do what they want. CBS plays concubine because of fear of losing the contract. Understandable. More importantly, regrettable.

Yep, non-fans tune in because of the spectacle.

I'm partially in agreement with both Ken and Ric. I still like McCord but not as much as I used to because I agree that his schtick is getting a bit old.
