How many Hole-In-Ones have you had?

I have only had one hole in one, but it was on a par four. Better than the hole in one was a double eagle on a par five in a golf tournmament. I hit diriver and 4 iron on a 520 yard par five. It was fun, and witnessed by many, as it was on the 18th hole.
A double eagle is a rarity. Many times more rare than an ace. Kids under 10 and very senior adults can get an ace but haven't got the distance to get a double eagle. Good for you.
My friend had a double eagle on a par five and we send the description into the local newspaper. At the end of the year the local golf column had an article about the numbers and our region reported 742 holes-in-one and only 7 double eagles. That should show how much more difficult the latter is.
The double eagle has long been one of my golf goals. I've come within a couple of feet several times, but that's still a long way from in.

1933 Double Eagle is the rarest of all.

Worth over $7.5 million if you can get one.

Rarest Double Eagle
So, a single on a par 4 or a deuce on a par 5? I'd gladly take either, but like Sarazen at Augusta ...

You guys remember Magee getting the former on 17 at TPC Scottsdale? His drive deflected off Byrum's putter and into the hole for reputedly the tour's only par-4 ace.
Two. Ironically both were during league play and it was against the same opponent (he's a much better player than me and has no aces to his credit).
First was similar to Blair's account...a relatively poor shot that looked like it was in the back fringe but must have hit the flagstick by 'accident'. Second was a much better 7 iron on a 150 yard par 3 that was a good looking shot the instant it left the club. That one actually deserved to go in!

Had one at Boulder City Muni, 17th hole about 145 yards, 9/07. Our foursome was in hurry up mode because
it was getting dark fast. I didn't do the usual practice swing with irons and I barely aimed it.
We got back to the clubhouse and I was ready to buy the drinks but they were closed up.
Ended up buying the guys a dinner buffet at Fiesta Henderson Casino using a LVA coupon.
Ha, got away cheap baby.

My one and only at Hilltop in Plymouth, MI., October 2006, into about a 15 mph wind 180 yards. Hit a nice fade (with a three wood) that hit the green and rolled about 10 feet right and rolled in. Just a side note, rolled a 300 game in league play six months later. I'm sure I won't duplicate that ever.
A perfect game in bowling has to be much rarer than an ace. Congrats.
