How many Hole-In-Ones have you had?

That would unfortunately be ZERO. Some day.
I had my one and only at Royal Links Golf Club in Las Vegas.

Here's a description of the hole from their website:

Hole No. 17 223-yard, par 3
Inspired by #17 at Royal Troon Golf Club, this hole may be the toughest on the golf course. It’s a long par-3 with four bunkers protecting the approach to the green and a fifth guarding the right. You’ve got to be deadly accurate here.

It was playing 205 yards for me. I flushed a 5 wood to the green, ball then rolled in the hole.

This made for a great vacation!
I have been golfing most of my life ( now 51) and still an ace virgin. The closest was in a tourney years ago and lipped out on a 291 yd par 4 left with a 1 inch birdie tap in...Oh ya did make the birdie.....Rick
Also now just dreaming of hitting the ball that far, to be young again
Never had an ace, but came close twice on the same hole, two years apart. Both were on the short par three at Desert Pines that faces north towards the driving range. Both times I hit a wedge within a foot. I guess if I played there more often I might get one!

Good Luck!

Eagle.
Would edit it but I will leave it. Yes an Eagle, hell birds are so rare anymore...To be young again.............Rick
I have gotten really close 4 times. One of those times the ball was leaning slightly at the edge of the hole. A centimeter more and would have had it!
Resurrecting an old thread, so I can add that as of today I now have one. All of 109 yards with a 9 iron (hey, I'm not a big hitter - and there was wind) but I'll take it!

Not at all. Some guys in my bowling league have 40+ perfect games and everyone has at least one. There is a perfect game about once every two weeks.

I've never had a hole in one. Came close a few times.

About 30 years ago a friend of mine told me he was playing solo and crushed his second shot on a par 5. He said he looked and looked for his ball but couldn't find it. Eventually, he dropped a ball and finished the hole. When he pulled the flag to putt out, he found his first ball in the hole.

Congrats!!

QM, don't sweat the club. It's still a game of accuracy. I hit a 9-iron straight uphill into the wind from 135 yesterday. I had to go over a stand of oaks and wasn't sure I could launch an 8 quickly enough, so of course I'm not thinking flag, so of course I'm calm, so of course I just nut the mutha and it ends up four feet below the hole. Laid the sod over a wedge from a perfect lie on the next hole. Golf!!

I'm still at nada. Had a time-warp "ace" last week. My pitch mark was center-left in the previous day's hole plug. What's that you say? Why, yes, that does mean my tee shot was a good 15 yards off line. lol
