Palm Valley - Groupon $34

There is a Groupon today for Palm Valley in Summerlin for $34 including a 18 holes and a bucket of balls. Is it worth it?

Ken's review in Golf Las Vegas was not enthusiastic but I saw some other online reviews that were good. I will be in Vegas 8 - 15 October and hoped to golf 4 times - Wildhorse, Wolf Creek, and Boulder City so far. What do you think about Palm Valley for $34 as the 4th course?

You could say that. lol At 34 bucks I'd play it. They just need to quit lying to me about conditioning when I call.

That's one of the most interesting lineups I've ever seen.

Interesting to say the least. Having played Wildhorse as many times as I have, I'd check conditions there too! Palm Valley at $34 can't hurt you. Wolf Creek is great and I've never complained about BC at it's price. Cross your fingers that WH is in decent shape. It seems that every other time i play there, the fairways or greens, or both, are just crap. At least these days it's a muni and they charge a lot less.

Wildhorse is a Groupon also.....I think it was ~ $35 also.....

I saved so much I may be able to go to Ellis Island!

$35 for golf in LV is about as low as it goes, so it's hard to get hurt at that price playing anywhere. Play well.

It's funny, deals are still out there, but Vegas golf pricing seems to be inching back up, which is insane. Hopefully we'll never see Bali Hai again remotely near $395 ... heck, let's hope we just never see Bali Hai again period. Or the days when LVGC was nipping folks for a cool Ben. While several of the $200+ babies are still dormant helping on the average, things seem to be inching upward.

Actually, what is frugal? I take on that very concept in the book, as those who have read it know. That's why a place like Paiute and the late Craig Ranch, Primm and Durango Hills, Shadow Creek and Boulder Creek get recs.
