Weather in Feb

I'll be in town in Feb for a guys trip. What is the weather typically like early in the month? Possible to play a few times? We are from the mid-west so we are used to playing in cold conditions......
Average high in early February is around 60. Unless you get really unlucky with a bad comination of high winds & below average temps, you should be fine. Even then, considering your last sentence, probably not an issue. I'm going to be out there in a week and am planning on playing at least once. Looking forward to it.
Feb can be about anything in terms of weather. I've played in nice weather. On the other hand, LV is the only place I've ever played golf in the snow. We started with sun and 50 degrees and by 15 it started to snow. Just prepare with proper clothes and you'll be fine.

Good Luck!

As Ric says, it's golf and it's weather, so it's eminently changeable. Just pack accordingly.

A buddy and I go just about every year in February. There has only been once when we couldn't finish a round and that was because of rain on No. 14 or so at Black Mountain.

We've played in 70 degrees at Paiute (feels surprisingly cold when the wind starts whipping!) to 50 degrees at other places and enjoyed them all.

It always cracks me up when we pull into the course and some people are wearing jackets and its 60 degrees outside Coming from the Midwest, that feels like mid-summer!
I remember playing Blk Mtn one Feb. Themp was into the 60s, so us bys from Seattle were in shorts and polos and our fourth was a recent transplant, so he wore the same. The group in front of us were club members and looked like it was ready to snow. Once they get climatized......................

The comment about the wind reminded me of a PGA Senior tournament we attended. We left Bob and Sue's place in Green Valley about 6:30am looking at 60 and blue skies. We got to Angel Park for breakfast and the wind had kicked up (as it does a lot on the west side). After breakfast we moved over to TPC Summerlin for the tournament. By now the wind was consistantly 20mph with gusts. We froze our asses off watching players on the range before seeking refuge in the pro shop. I nearly spent $100 on a windshirt for an hours worth of protection. If Bob had suggested we go, I would have gone. Fortunately, the wind slowly died and we had great day watching the seniors. The highlight was following Arnie for nine holes.

Good Luck!
