Caesars Room Comp

I was offered 3 free nights at any Total Rewards Las Vegas property. I've never stayed at Paris or Caesars, but went ahead and picked Caesars. Has anyone stayed in a Palace Tower Deluxe Room? Just wondering if I might want to try the $20 trick or should I just be happy with the comp? I guess my other question is was I okay in choosing Caesars over Paris?

Yes, you made the right choice and there is no need to use the $20 trick. At Paris the lower floors have not been remodeled and are showing their age.

The $20 trick is when you place a $20 bill between a credit card and ID at check in, smile, and then politely ask if they have any room upgrades when you hand it to them. If it does not seem likely, you can remove the $20 bill, or take your chances that they will give it to you.

You don't need to do the $20 dollar trick, just ask them for a room upgrade - if its mid week, Caesars has always upgraded us, even before I was a Diamond Player. Furthermore they have explained to us that if they get caught they can get fired.
