So, I couldn't figure out why it worked on IE8 at home, but then didn't work on IE8 at work, and then figured it out. IE8 at work is set to display all websites in compatibility view. When compatibility view is enabled, the "+" symbols don't work to uncollapse and collapse the items (but clicking on the price link (example: "$65 Great Online Rates!") does indeed work all the time). When compatibility view is not enabled, then the + symbols work in IE8. Hope that helps, and the bottom line is that it's still workable even if nothing else is done with it.
