Perpetual Czech Actually Discovers the Meaning of Being Perpetual

so I guess if you have multiples, you would have hit a "twin quinella"?
Forget poker, there's no bigger "all-in" push in man's life than conception.

Mucho congrats, PC. Great news.

If anything will make you a believer, being a father will. And you'll need somebody to whom to pray for guidance.

I am pretty sure even Dawkins raised his child to believe in Santa Claus so there may be an outside shot. Granted, she was 4 when he broke the news, but that's neither here nor there.

Congratulations, PC.

"Granted, she was 4 when he broke the news, but that's neither here nor there."

Didn't know that, LOL.

Hopefully PC will not be a father for at least 10 more days.

Lets Go!

Custer has the Over June 17th in case that sounded weird. There is still debate whether he had to lay the -110 or not.

So if our lives are meaningless and death is inevitable, why put another person through it? Not trying to be argumentative. Just curious, as it's something I ask myself as well.

"So if our lives are meaningless"

Whoa, when did I ever say THAT??
The term God can imply many things. Christians and many religions believe in a personal God. A God who thinks like we do. Other religions like Buddhism and Pantheism believe in an impersonal God where the universe, nature, and even us humans make up God. Either way, denying some type of supernatural entity also requires a meaningless existence.

A God can't exist without a meaningful existence and a meaningful existence cannot exist without God.

So if you believe in no God, what then is the meaning of our lives?

p.s. As I've said in the past, any Christian would be crazy or sadistic to have children because the Christian religion states that most of us will live forever in fiery torture for all of eternity. While I'd hope to raise good kids, that's a little too much downside to take a chance on.

Jeez Dave, Running a little bad at the tables today?

And any good Christain believes that they will raise their child with enough Christian values that they would not be one of the masses who burn in a fiery hell.

If you don't believe in any of that then whats there to worry about?

You live the best life you can and thats good enough.
