We did the Westgate buffet last month.  It was pretty good for 32 bucks total for 2.  Good omlet station, bacon shrimp, and fruet and salad bar were all good.  Carving station was pretty dry   Good luck on the trip and the surgery

Thanks so much.  I'm already using your recommendation to use my comp at Excalibur.  With free parking at the Sahara, I'll stop there and walk to Westgate.  That gives me the opportunity to use my LVA Sahara coupon after breakfast.

I plan to not drive on WestGate day.I don't know where you are staying. But for one day only I will buy a monorail ticket.Plan WestGate buffet lunch.Go to Sahara. Then back to WestGate maybe see 5p 2 for1 magic show. Then I have tickets to see Barry at 7p.One area monorail works well. From Horseshoe easy stops at Westgate and Sahara. Avoid parking fees and traffic for one night.OK why am I staying on The Strip.Answer free.

We walked from the Tuscany (two blocks south of the Horseshoe) to the Westgate last November.  Not a tough walk, but took us almost an hour.  We're both in pretty good shape and there is no way we would have walked that in the summer.  Good call on the monorail, Patricia.   Have a great birthday trip.

The only reason I'm walking is because the weather forecast is for great weather.  Plus, I can't give up the free parking while it's still available.  I enjoy having the time not being in a casino with all the smoke.

Heading to Las Vegas this week.  Maybe we will run into Robert or David !

going last week of Auguest  would be willing to do meet up

Miss ya by a month June 15th this year

I've scaled back my Vegas visits drastically, and when Vegas is a pizza oven, I stay away; if I wanna gamble, I go to Reno. But I do have a December trip scheduled--after the Big Horsie Rodeo--and I'd enjoy doing a meetup then.
