Seeing my optometrist next Wednesday so I'll let you know if I will be there when you are. I took advantage of the LVA coupon and got a really good price on a renovated king room in the Impanema Tower on a higher floor with a strip view.
I'll be there from 17-21 August, looking forward to it. Advantage Play was a great book and great read, look forward to playing again in Circa Millions. Dave M.

Enjoy! Wife and I are going this coming Sunday, June 29 to Tuesday, July 1st. Comped room and $250 FP and $50 food for me and $350 FP and $50 food for my wife. She's the high roller. LOL

Going to be downtown from December 6 - December 16, 2025. Anyone else? We've never been to see Vegas all dressed up for Christmas. A
l just found out the rodeo is in town during those dates, which is why the room rates are so high. If we hadn't made plans with others that already booked flights, we for sure would be passing on this trip.

That's a drag! Particularly because the time between the last day of the rodeo and Christmas is the best bargain of the entire year as far as room rates are concerned. Perhaps you can convince your friends to rebook their flights?
BTW, Vegas during Christmas, at least the touristy areas, is no big whoop as far as being dressed up. Having lived in and/or visited dozens of cities during the holidays, I'd put Vegas near the bottom of the list. If you go out into the neighborhoods, you'll see some private homes with decorations, and places like Sunset Park and Summerlin will have Christmas lights. But all that is far away from downtown and the Strip.
