Anyone in town Nov 15 - 19 2020?

Going to be in Vegas on Sun 15th for 4 nights. Staying at Bellagio (3 comp nights). Wife is not going due to the flying element of the trip so if anyone is in town and wants to meet up for some drinks and chat...just let me know. I will have transport so can travel to any of the hotels.

Keep safe all.

Terry

GREAT offer,Terry!   We need a little more lead time for these meet ups. Maybe a week. Warm weather, then too.

Today is the 19th.

I did 'Vegas solo twice and it's not as much fun-I need a gambling buddy and a wing man.

Oh shoot, we check into Bellagio just a few days after you depart.  Would have been perfect to meet up.  Maybe next time.  Good luck.

Please give us a trip report! It would be interesting to know how things are operating at the Fromaggio (I never set foot there due to the hideously overpriced everything and the terrible gambling).

Is your comp offer typical of what you've gotten in the past, or are they ramping up the offers due to lack of business? That would be good to know as well.

Kevin...will give you a trip report on my safe return.....

As for the comps......The MGM resorts have been sending me "specials" for some time. They state that as I have never stayed with them (which is true as I usually stay at a Caesars hotel like Paris or Ballys) here are some deals. Mostly 3 nights comp (still have to pay Resort fees) at the "classy hotels" and 4 nights at the other ones (MGM Grand, New York,New York etc) A notable exception is the Luxor which is offering 4 nights free with NO resort fees. (I could of booked that for $26 - taxes) + $100 in resort food credit + $75 in free play.

I would assume that the offers are due to the lack of current business but I'll be able to judge that once I am there.

Dave...Yes I know 4 weeks is a bit short notice. The weather should be fine though in the 60's or 70's.

Solo is not going to be fun but I hope to visit some of the "older" casinos like El Cortez and Orleans. (My wife does not like the Fremont area....which is a shame)

I'm sorry,Terry- I cannot read! Plenty of lead time! Sheesh!

The Fremont is usually too smoky for me! Good gamble, but not many good VP machines. I play 9/6.

They messed with the pay outs on Pick-'em! Great drink service there and at El Cortez.

I hope than one (OR MORE) of our members can meet you there. You will have a great time!

I did a meet up with 'Vegas DEV 'a few years back and we got along fine. Did some downtown coupon runs and drank a moderate amout of BEERS!

Be careful around the FSE- pick pockets and credit card skimmers.

I meet the nicest people at the video poker bars in 'Vegas.

I met Gene at the MSS Boar's head bars and we still email each other.

That was during Saint Patric's Day time. We were in the elevator and he popped off with "Erin Go Bra less".

I regularly add to his blog.

Dave, thanks for the comments. Maybe you can help me??? I consider myself a standard slot player but do enjoy sitting at the bar playing VP and getting the free drinks.  However I am sure I am not good at VP so I have been "practising" on a free online trainer. (I did get a RF at Ballys the last time I was in Vegas)

IYO where can I find the best VP machines in Vegas with a decent bar area?

Any suggestions?

Keep safe

Terry
