August 18 - 25. Bring bail money. IDEAS?

Opps, my fault Champster. I knew your dates but forgot. . .

Perhaps the same thing on Monday the 20th?

Or ????
Intereting choice! I'm down as long as there are no lines like I saw in May. They have some good new bands at the pool that draw decent crowds.
I land in Vegas Mon the 20th at 11:59am. By the time I pick up the rental and get to Cosmo you will be on your second drink. By the way how is parking at Cosmo, I have only walked there.
Eastend- I believe a noon time event on a Monday or Tuesday might keep the pool crowd down a bit- perhaps.

Rocky- I actually think noon/1:00 might work better- sometimes noon comes very eary in Las Vegas!

Parking at Cosmo? I'm not sure. . .

Parking at Cosmo is simple. As you pull in Harmon (?) Street from LV Blvd stay to the right and follow the sign. Once in the garage they have a light showing open spaces. The elevator was only letting you off at the casino requiring a trek through the gambling floor but I heard that may have been changed.

And Rocky, looking at the news articles about this bar, we'll probably be on our second popsicle.

I won't be in town to meet you guys. My loss. But, I'd like to extend Happy 10th Anniversary wishes to Mr & Mrs qmc_sw. You may want to check-out the Gold Coast Happy Hour in the bar area of the Cortez Room. The August newsletter described it as the best happy hour in town that no one knows about. Half priced drinks and appetizers weekdays from 4:30 to 6:00. Enjoy!
Im flexible. Cosmo works for me (lil sis is staying there from 8-19 till I leave) and i have been to the Gold Coast for meet also (worked out pretty good)!!
Hi guys.

Hmmm, after reading a bit, perhaps "Book & Stage" Bar still in Cosmopolitan would work better. Neopolitan sounds like a pool-ish, outdoor place- still fun I'm sure but perhaps Book & Stage, which is in the center of the Casino would be better?

I like the Cortez Room at the GC and was planning to go to their Happy Hour with the wife during our stay, but I thought some place new and perhaps a bit more upbeat would work nicely for a members meet.

BOOK & STAGE BAR

A CELEBRATION OF TOP-NOTCH PERFORMANCES IN SPORTS AND MUSIC.

Book & Stage is an inspired sports book and lounge. It's a great place to catch and bet on live sporting events from around the world. At night, the space becomes true to its name — the stage above the bar comes alive with popular musicians playing intimate shows adding to the excitement of the book.

And no matter what time of day it is, Book & Stage is always serving a diverse mix of craft-made bottled beers, simple and classic cocktails and tasty re-imagined bar food.

Sound good to me too. I like Cosmopolitan and have to stop there to get my Zappos card.

Also, I edited my directions above since I can't tell my right from my left. You need to be on the right side of Harmon to get into the Cosmo garage.

OK, "Book & Stage Bar" at High Noon-ish on Monday the 20th. Inside the Cosmopolitan. That's our 1st opition. Do I hear a 2nd choice?
