Labor Day Weekend 2024 Member Meet?

A few weeks ago a group of posters (Mark, Sledhead, and Boiler) discussed trying to meet up downtown for some drinks and possibly some VP.  I am down for that, if it can be worked out.  And if others are interested, let's use this thread to discuss it.   

Sunday, Sept. 1st would work best for me since it's the only day I have open since we're coming into town for my wife's birthday (Aug. 31st) and 24th wedding anniversary (Sept. 2).  Sunday is a chill out day for the group (about 10 strong), so I can easily get away that day for a few hours.  

I thought it might be the DTG for the meet up, but it looks like they are going through some turmoil right now and their VP has really taken a hit.   Any other ideas for where to meet up?

I will be at the Rio the week before you'll be in town.  I have an important doctor appt on either Sept 4 or 5 and want to be home to prepare.

Sorry, I just saw this I will be in town 1st through 5th. The 1st will work but I need to be on the strip as I have an event to attend there on the 1st. 

Let's see what we can work out.  I will be over around the Westgate area, so I can just jump on the monorail to meet up Center Strip if that works.  We can try to finalize something next week.   The 1st is the best for me since it will be a very mellow day for the group.....wife's 50th is on the 31st and anniversary on the 2nd.  Most will be just hanging out by the pool and such.  

I don't twitter.  Posting on here and a few random texts is about all I do.

I post from my phone, so I can post on here that Friday regarding a meet up spot for the 1st.  

Where is your event?  Maybe we can meet up before or after, nearby.
