Strip is too busy.
We've done downtown to death.
Need a place with flexible seating, in a casino, with food (not just drinks).... That limits the choices.
A bunch of us are around the Rio/Palms/Orleans so which casino had the above? Noodle Exchange fits. And their food is decent. We've met there before. LVA staff also have been known to stop in.
Noodle Exchange "box lunch" specials used to be the play. Don't know if they still are. Tiger Shrimp are really good.
Parking at Gold Coast: key is the parking garage on the RIO SIDE, second floor (ground level is for valet). There's a walkway into the casino. Gold Coast has pretty decent gambling. Good collection of machines -- at times good, at times better than average. You can play a MRB coupon.
Directions for coming from the Strip. Head on Flamingo over the highway. Pass the Rio. After you scross the street after the Rio (Valley View), make the first right into the parking lot of Gold Coast. As you enter the parking lot, the casino should be forward to your left. There's a parking structure forward to the right. The ramp is a right turn right in front of you. Go to the second level. Park about 1/3 down. Doors into the walkway on your left. You exit out the other side of the parking garage which puts you on Valley View and you can make a left on Flamingo to get back to the Strip.
