What Happens At An LVA Member Meet

We've had a number of meets in December over the years. But they're typically somewhat smaller. We're coordinating with our former neighbors for a Vegas trip at that time. If you guys get something put together put up a thread and hopefully we're not otherwise predisposed by a round of golf or something!

Had quite a few good times at the meets I've attended. I think 've done six, but I might forget one or two. Was at one at MSS with a few dozen people, and others with a half dozen or so. Even had one where just three of us showed up. Had a good time at each of them.

I've been to three meets - Bill's Gambling Hall, Ellis Island - the same year and then the third time was at El Cortez. I enjoyed all three and met some very nice people. Hopefully there will be one when I go back to Vegas April 20th for one week.

I remember that 1 well BBking! In fact this (Mar 22-31st) will be my first return to "MarchMadness" VEGAS since then (4-5 years ago??), unless we, Buffalo State Men's Basketball, make the 2nd round of the NCAA's.

Ditto for MM at Guardinos with Darcie. That's actually the only place where I've been to a member meet twice. Charles Mayfield both times (if I'm not mistaken) Great times (especially with LVA 50% coup)

Met Billryan and RecVp at the Chicago Brewery (4 Queens) and Karen TN at the Seahorse (Ceasars). It's funny how the same places keep popping up. Recvp (Coach) you may want to develop F.M.M.P. (Favorite Member Meet Places) list.

I remember that first meet at MGM.It was so crowded because of the tournament we had to stand the whole time.I'll miss you be a couple of weeks.Have a great time Champ.

I also will unfortunately miss you by a couple of weeks since I think that I'll next be there during the second or maybe first week in March.

Oops, sorry for the double post, but all meets that I have been to have been in Downtown at Plaza, Four Queens and El Cortez. Downtown is a lot easier for me.

I only attended one group meet in Vegas, it was at the pub in the Orleans and arranged by Pat and Dick from Milwaukee. I think there was a total of 8 of us who met there. It was good to put faces to names. I also met my friend, who I met on LVA, at the Orleans in Vegas - she and I both lived in MA but never met until we got to Vegas at the same time. We have remained friends for years, and communicate almost daily by private messages.

John and I head to Vegas 4/16 - 4/23. If there are any meets, we would love to attend!!
