I have a TON of info I could be posting.... I am posting this for Vegasbrent and anyone else it may help. I am a solo person not a corporation. No one holds my hand and shows me the way &/or spoon feeds me.I do not have a Mentor nor a partner in Handicapping sports...my "partner" is Numbers!? I consider myself Married to (0) zero & we have children numbers 1-9...I live & breathe numbers...ok funny part out of the way (lol). Please Brent ask yourself this question: Why would I (MaxNU) want to help you? After I(MaxNU) thought you were "drowning" (going thru rough times 'cappin') and tried to lend my hand to help & gave you a small piece of advice something to the effect of "Start with a paper Bankroll"...to which (in my eyes) was shrugged off...with no you will do it your way or something to that effect. Now you posted the other day "no picks & better for your Bankroll"...I BET you wished you had done the "paper Bankroll" now? Since your Bankroll is suffering, I am so CONFIDENT in my own skillset that I can turn your Bankroll around ...IF you have any doubt please re-read my 365-1-a-day posts (something like -50 units? to a now +23.12 units). We are all headed in the same direction...to the Top of the mountain,BUT, it is a very,very slippery slope to the top (refer to the "performance Graph") Oh and that is a puny sample size...now imagine if you will how would that Graph look say after 10,000 bets/plays/picks? I KNOW from my own experience playing poker both offline in casinos & ONline what it will look like it is almost a Straight line from lower left (start of the slope) to the TOP of the slope(upper right hand corner of a graph. all those big dips etc even out over time to become that straight line.You CANNOT get to the Top of the mountain for 2 reason's(off the top of my mind), #1)the mountain top is so high it is covered by clouds #2)it is too much of a leap to accomplish the feat in one step...it takes many "Baby" steps.... I know it is the internet age & everyone wants IT NOW...it doesn't work that way in 'cappin'. It is my "NATURE" to HELP! & I kind of took offense to your other post when my "Intentions" were to post MY thought about "Value"...in not just my eyes but other's also...it seemed like an insinuation that I was attacking or bad mouthing LVA &/or LVAS... In NO way shape or form did "i" mention LVA &/or LVAS....You twisted my words & added extras'. I'll have you know that I had a "Hairbrained"? Idea to HELP lva site in my own way...how? by posting "performance Summary & Performance graph" thinking readership/viewership might increase off of something "New" & Different" Now why did I want to do this? You might be surprised what you uncover as I did & do everyday in my "Climb to the Mountain Top". ***quick Note*** want a chuckle? Did you ever Think...I(MaxNU)...Might have performance Summary &/or Performance Graph on YOUR picks or anyone else's posting here at LVAS or in the internet universe? I DO! No offense was intended in any of my comments. I commented on the value of this board because I have read or heard that the discussion boards at LVASports are under serious consideration being discontinued. My thought was that if one of only four people who post regularly(not including myself) was to no longer post, it may be the final nail in the coffin. I wanted to state that there is value in having these boards. I wanted to point out to those making the decision of whether to keep the boards that they are wanted and do have value. I see now that it came across more as a personal comment on what you posted. For that, I apologize. I should have taken more time choosing the words to express what I wanted to really say. The comment about your spreadsheet was meant as a compliment to you and self-deprecating to me. My point was that you are doing things right and have all the information ready at your fingertips. On the other hand, I'm such a bonehead, I never even considered keeping track of my bets along those lines. Hence, I have to figure it out. As far as listening to your advice, I do have other bets I do on paper. However, bets I'm comfortable with and can back with numbers, I want to actually make and post on here. I can't explain it, but it's just different when you have skin in the game. Also, one thing you told me I say to myself on an almost daily basis. And that is that you have to lose to win(paraphrased, but I know what you meant). I review people's advice to me a few times a month. Admittedly, I do want to do it my way. That is the best way for me to learn. It may be different for others, but I know how I learn best. This is not meant as a diss to anyone. I can't tell you how much it means to me when someone takes time to advise me. While the advice is not always listened to, it is always heard. It is always appreciated. And of course, FrankB." forget about me,I am no one special...I do not consider myself special..I am just a guy who works hard at what I choose to do...'Cappin',now as for RickJ & mwlanca I do not know either of them...as for LarryK heh he has like 50 yrs 'cappin' under his belt,I am getting close to 3 yrs...no comparison 50 vs not even 3 yet...I am but a toddler compared to some.Ok so I put a lot of hours in sometimes 20 hrs a day or more as I sift thru whatever info etc. I come in contact with.
