Any recent visitors tp a Bellagio Tower renovated room?

I stayed at Bell in 2010 and the basic rooms were disappointing. They were comped then, so I can't really complain.

I am considering another try and would like to find out if the renovated rooms are really better.
Curious how they would compare to a resort room at the Wynn.

Tripadvisor has some very mixed reviews.
I was not aware Bellagio did renovations since 2010.I could have missed it though.
Do a google search "Belagio Renovations".
Maybe we are talking about the same thing.
The renovations at Bellagio are strictly cosmetic--different carpet, wallpaper, draperies, and furniture. Structure is unchanged.

What some might call more modern decor.
I was disappointed, but then I liked the original decor.

The credenza went from two closets to one.

They do have new TVs though, finally.

No comparison with Wynn basic rooms.

This is in regard to the regular basic room and corner rooms.

Candy on the money....... Their "renovated" rooms might be new fixins? But ugly.
Think Paris' OLD "blue" rooms. Very yesterday.........and not in a good way.
ok, thanks for the input.

Sounds like its worth a look on a comp. For the prices they are asking, look elsewhere.
CLV has it right.
I predict they'll be heavily discounting rooms within a year.
I stayed there in mid Dec., using an email offer. The offer was 3 free nights plus $100 food credit.
When I called in, saying I needed 4 nights, Tues, to Friiday, they said no problem.

My room had a view of the strip and was very comfortable for one person.
Yes, it is ugly. The green and purple wall paper is ridiculous, and the dark green carpeting didn't help.

I played nine hours at my usual level of play. No problem at check out, and the web site has added
offers for Mirage and Aria into May. I fear that playing nine hours for a four day comp at Venetian
would have been an issue with a host breathing down my neck.

Actually they were smart about something. I did play in the poker room, which does not get comps.
I now have been getting offers for poker room rates. Fair enough. Better than having a host get all aggitated if I want to split my time between different games.
We stayed in November for a few nights. I was glad when I heard we were going into a renovated room, but I have to say I don't understand why they chose to decorate as they did. Almost a generic tropical look that didn't seem to fit the resorts Euro theme at all. We were scratching our heads over that one. Very strange....

My theory is, the idiot put in charge of the remodeling decided to go with the retro 50s wave that seems to have taken hold lately in clothing, decor, etc.

Unfortunately, this is the polar opposite of what was the Bellagio look and feel.
