Aria Self Park

Could someone please tell me how long of a walk it is from the self parking to check in. I am hoping its not like the MGM that is the worst. Thanks..

Brad
e will be there in 2 weeks ourselves and have not been there before, so any info helps. Thanks as well!

I hate to valet park and wait.
The self parking is on the south end of the casino whereas the check in desk is at the north end. They are essentially as far apart and they could possibly be. However, I don't find the walk too bad as the connection from the garage to the casino is fairly close....certainly closer than MGM. At least in this way you are in the A/C while schleping yourself and your bags to the check in area. I'm guessing that from the parking garage to the front desk is about a five minute or less walk. There is a tiled walkway for the entire path once you enter the casino so little resistance on your wheeled luggage and no having to dodge machine players, chairs, etc. on your route.

The valet system is pretty good in that you can call ahead from your room to have your car brought up. In the same way as the self parking garage, the valet pick up is at the south end of the casino.

If you opt for self parking, enter the garage and go up one level. This actually puts you on the same level as you'd enter the casino and take an escalator down. This is better than having to wait for an elevator in the garage. Parking always seemed pretty plentiful the last few times I've used it.

Thanks for the great info Dan. Doesn't sound too bad then. I find the walk for the self park at Caesars and Mandalay Bay just as bad as MGM. Ugh!
Had to smiling reading your topic line--last time we at LV stayed at Aria and were sitting out front enjoying the warm spring weather and killing our last 15-20 minutes before we had to head back to a snowy home and watch a huge Uhaul pulling a car pull into valet parking. The look on the valet's face was great--he had a heck of a time moving that thing, run it up and over the curb and over flowers. Wish I had had a movie camera.
Stayed at the Aria Aug 6-9. The rooms were great and the parking was not too bad. Takes about 8 minutes to walk from the room to the parking garage.
The check in desk is at the front, as far as can be from the self park. But considering how much walking one does in Las Vegas, it's not bad. Thank goodness we have wheeled suitcases now. I always avoid valet. I don't trust them, and I have seen how they drive the cars. You can hear the tires screaming also. And what if you forgot something in the car?
