Back to Back comp stay policy change

I just made back to back comp stay reservation for MB and Aria. While on the phone with MB VIP (the first res) I asked if there had been any changes to their policy because I was looking at staying at Aria also. She told me they now allow one back to back comp stay, however, if both have freeplay on the offer you cannot get the freeplay on the second stay.
I then called Aria VIP to book the second reservation. When she saw I had my MB res, she told me there had to be 5 days between stays. I told her what MB had told me, she put me on hold and looked up the policy, came back and appologized and said MB was correct and allowed me to book the offer.

I think this is a good policy. It allows their guests to stay with them longer instead of forcing us to go to another company's hotel, while protecting them from the freeplay hit and run people (I am guilty of this in the past!) which I am sure was one of the main reasons they made the changes to begin with.
That's very good to know! I wonder if they would allow you to book an offer with free play and then book an offer with a slot tournament or other "event". We'll have to find out more about how this new policy works.
This is going to make trip planning much easier.

..thanks great info

That will make booking our next trip much easier. Hope this policy stays around for a while.
I tried to do this in February but couldn't. I guess this is a new policy.
This is exactly what I was told by MB vip services, however even when I had 2 days at GN between staying first at MB then Excal. they wouldnt budge when I told them this. I was given my 2 night offer but was told I was going to have to pay for the first night. Of course at a discounted rate of $34 and I was able to still get my $75 in FP plus 2 for 1 tickets to any MGM show. Ill pay $34 to get $75 in FP
This sounds great. I have an offer for suite and RFB and slotplay that we could not use, and were going to stay at Paris the 2nd half of our trip. Guess I should call and see if they will take care of us at Bellagio instead. Not a problem if they drop off the $300 in slot play.
That's good to know. NYNY and Monte Carlo always allowed back to back bookings but my most recent offer from Mirage still says in the fine print cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers. Guess you just need to call and ask to find out.

that may or may NOT have anything to do with rooms or offers elsewhere. I think they put that sort of wording in there so folks do not expect to double or triple dip. Like stay at the hotel using two different offers, etc etc

Based on what everyone is saying, one offer followed by another is now being allowed. Or at least the hotel room part is.
