Fewer Mlife offers

I know this has been mentioned before but now that I am planning a June trip I really noticed a difference.
Under the old "Players Club" it was not uncommon for me to have 25+offers on my web page.

When they sent me a Platinum card in Jan.I thought the quantity and quality of my offers would go up.
Just the opposite!
I have 10 offers total with 2 of them in Mississippi.Quality seems to have gone down also with not as much free play or promo chips.
I have not been there in 6 months so I'm not sure if that is a factor.
Kind of weird but I'm suddenly getting more generous offers from Caesars with more free play etc. than ever.
I'm confused.Has anyone else noticed this?
Once my initial M Life offers expired.........seems like my New offers are very lame.

Like One nite free. (big whoop)

CE is heads & tails more generous to me than MLife. (I'm not Plat. and at this rate, never will be.)

Fewer offers here as well.

We booked a 3-night stay based on an offer the wife got. Then earlier this week checked back and had another 3-night stay offer. I called to ask if we could book w a few days in between (we are there for 10 days in July) and was rudely told no by the phone person.

I asked then why would you send me an offer if you wouldn't honor it and she said they hoped we would use it when we came back in a month or so. We live in Virginia, soooooooooo... not happening.

Just went ahead and canceled the 1st reservation and will take advantage of our 5 free nights at Flamingo. Not as nice of a hotel but it does have a great pool, no resort fees, and seem to want my business.
so blonde--
I was originally upset cuz i thought they downgraded M offers..
but I see it's MLife-
I love M
M is better all the way around
off strip/ cleaner, relaxed, more food choices.

M rocks
MLife? not so much

Well, I just looked. LOL

Yes, you are correct!!!

My offers have gone down in number too.

I saw only about 7-8. Used to see 20-25.

I don't go to their site very often.

I usually always go by emails or what comes in the mail.

So far so good.

Wonder why they are cutting back on their site offers?

Well, their site was never very proficient anyway. LOL

JJJJ21 you bring up a good point. Now that I think about it,the email and snail mail offers used to appear on my web page.
They do not anymore. That being said, the overall quality and quantity of offers has still decreased fo me.
Planning on first stay at Aria this trip if I can get a host to offer something decent. If not could be back to Mirage or one of their other hotels.
MGM should read the article about the huge decrease in play Venetian/Palazzo has seen for their new reduced comp policy. I emailed
the article to every MGM executive email I could find. Hope they read it and realize that the new policy will work out even worse for them
than it did for Las Vegas Sands. They lose that much play and they will not be able to pay off the loans they have and will go bankrupt.
Where could I find that article on the V/P?
It was the feature article in The Las Vegas Sun also the most read article according to their site.

Well, I posted the Ven/Pal article in the Palms/Other catergory. Can't miss it. (from May 3 story)

I sent an email to Liz hoping she would continue the story, to focus on V/P, from us, Vegas customers perspective, because the other article also included Macao.
She posted the V/P article he's referring to, yesterday. (May 11)
Liz got it mostly right, except for the last paragraph alittle misleading in V/P. favor,
if you ask me,
Should have said that of the 84% of the Occupied rooms almost all of those
(97%) were Paying customers, instead of comp customers.

Bottom line, last year they had More rooms Filled with paying AND Comp customers,
and More VACANT rooms now!

Along with a Vacant casino!
