Host question

I have two hosts at two different properties within the MGM chain. Let's call 'em Host A at Property A and Host B at Property B.

I've made reservations for my next trip through Host A for Property A. If I gamble a bit at Property B, who benefits? Host A? Host B? Both?

Thanks in advance. (The answer won't alter my play. Just curious.)
good question!
I'm guessing neither, though there might be an indirect benefit to host B since your play at B adds to B's bottom line.
Ummmmm.....I'm pretty darned sure one of my hosts will be credited with my play in the scenario described above. Just not sure who I'll be coded to at Property B.

I actually submitted a similar question to the QOD a few years ago, though not specifically about the MGM chain. I guess it got burried under the reject pile. But there was a QOD not too long ago about how hosts get paid, and the answer overall was that most places aren't real forthcoming with that information. Search the QOD archives...it might answer your question...or not.

I recall that they said some places pay the host directly according to your play, others add it up and give bonuses once a year, etc. I've had an MGM host tell me "we don't work on commission, any host can help you", but not sure I believe that.
Your host at property B will get credit for your play at their property.
Aha! Thank you!
Clarification,

Host A gets credit for only A Prop.

Host B gets credit for any play at B prop.

Correct?

CLV, that's correct.
Just need a little more clarification on the same issue.
The hosts at their respective properties get credit for your play there.
Will they count your theo equally on checkout from your play at property B ?

I will be staying at Aria again on my next trip.
I am meeting some customers at Bellagio one night for drinks, dinner and some table play.
So if I play a couple hours at Bellagio will that count toward backend F+B credit at the same rate as my Aria play?
I think they say it does but I'm not sure.
