Huh?

I just went through my MLife offers and had this hit me in the face. We're low to mid players, and usually don't give much play at all to MGM properties. Stayed last year for 2 nights on an offer at MBay; played only 1 day, allocated about $600 of bankroll, playing about 4-5 hours and leaving down about $150.

So on my current offers it shows I have to pay an average of $62.00 a night for a two night stay (Thurs nite & Fri nite) at Luxor or Excalibur during our trip in August. Or I could book three nights at THE Hotel @ MBay, all comped plus get $125.00 in Resort Dollars.

Yes, we booked THE Hotel, and had no problems even though it included a Friday night.
We tried to switch it up this year and get away from the Mirage. We've stayed there the last 4 years in a row. MLife offers from NYNY and Mirage but I couldn't get anything from MBay, so I actually called the special guest relation number. The lady put me on hold for a minute or so, she got back on the line and advised no offers to me for anytime in June. We waited a few more weeks and then we got an offer from Wynn for two weekday nights. Like you with MGM properties I had gambled maybe $500 at Wynn in a two day period, an hour or so a day. So we booked 3 days at Mirage and 2 dyas at Wynn. It just doesn't seem to make sense that I've shown plenty of play at Mirage for free nights with MLife and then I actually call sister MLife property, MBay showing great interest and they flip me the bird! Huh!, is right!
We had a similar experience for our upcoming June trip. Last year I had a convention at the Wynn and paid the convention rate for the room for 3 nights. We played about 98% on my card to get the free spin promo, plus the free buffet promo, plus the $100 dinner voucher at the Society Cafe. Not exactly sure how much we played through on my card, but I know we used about $2000 in bankroll and left $600.00 down. At the end, talked to a host and they took about $150 off the bill. Fine. On wifes card we played enough to get the spin bonus. Maybe we played $200.00 on her card.

For June she got an offer for 3 nights comped plus $300 in free play and if we go mid week, we'd get upgraded to an Encore suite! Yes, that's booked too and got the Encore upgrade for free too!

Me? I don't even get an email or mailer from Wynn! Her they hound with offers. I just can't figure out marketing depts. Not complaining, I'll take their gravy, thank you very much.
